A promotion campaign for cheap air tickets pokes fun at the Australian cricket team which lost the second Ashes Test at Lord's recently, reports Australian Associated Press.
It says: "Hurry! Once (these tickets) are gone, they're gone a bit like the Aussie Ashes hopes," says one travel agent's website. STA Travel's advertisement shows a sad-looking kangaroo called Ricky holding a cricket ball.
Customers are told that Aussie airline Qantas are offering London-Sydney return fares for 215 pounds.
Two hundred and fifteen is the amount of runs scored in Australia's first innings of the second Test. And 425 is the number of tickets available the same tally which England scored in the first innings which led to Australia's first defeat at Lord's in 75 years.
u00a0A Qantas spokeswoman is quoted in the news report as saying, "The result has ended in fantastic fares for travellers from England to Australia. It's great news for customers."
