The Board of Control for Cricket in India today announced a bonus of Rs 15 lakh for each player after the India team's historic Test and one-day series victory in New Zealand.
India clinched the three-match Test series 1-0 after the final Test ended in a draw in Wellington today.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni's team won the first Test in Hamilton by 10 wickets and the second in Napier ended in a draw.
This was India's first Test series victory on New Zealand soil since Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi's team achieved that feat in 1967-68.

Dhoni's boys had earlier clinched the five-match one-day series 3-1, also their first series win in the shorter version of the game in New Zealand.
BCCI president Shashank Manohar, while congratulating the team, announced the bonus for each player involved in the Tests and ODIs, besides Rs 10 lakh each for the support staff.
"Mr Shashank Manohar, President of the BCCI, has extended his congratulations to the Indian cricket team, for its outstanding display in New Zealand," the BCCI said in a statement.
"The Board President has announced a bonus of Rs 15 lakh to every player who participated in the Test and one-day series. The support staff will receive a bonus of Rs 10 lakh each," it said.
