The Uttar Pradesh medium pacer, who turned 23 on February 5, was impressive during his one-day international debut against Pakistan and the recent England ODI series. Till yesterday afternoon, it looked like Ashok Dinda would be the second pacer to accompany Ishant Sharma.u00a0
But later in the evening, a team source informed MiD DAY that Bhuvneshwar would get the nod ahead of Dinda. "Bhuvi is an unknown commodity and swings the ball well. If he can get early breakthroughs, India will be in driver's seat," he said.
Ravichandran Ashwin will be the other spinner along with Harbhajan Singh, who will play his 100th Test today. They will also have the backing of Ravindra Jadeja, who will play as the third spinner.
Murali Vijay is set to open the innings with Virender Sehwag. The probable line-up looks like this: Sehwag and Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Jadeja, Ashwin, Harbhajan, Bhuvneshwar and Ishant. u00a0
