The Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council will meet tomorrow to finalise the budget for the fourth season, approval of tender invitation for global TV rights, global internet and mobile rights.
It will also discuss sponsorship deals for the 2010 season. World Sports Group (WSG), who had won rights for five years for International TV, global radio, mobile and internet, had their contracts terminated in June. It was the $80 million 'facilitation fee' agreement between World Sports Group (WSG-Mauritius Limited), (WSG-India Pvt Ltd) and Lalit Modi, that propelled BCCI to invalidate all IPL agreements signed with WSG (India) Pvt Ltd in 2008.
The IPL has undergone sea changes ever since Modi has been suspended last April.
