Rohan Bopanna and Aisam ul-Haq-Qureshi advanced to the doubles quarter-finals of the USD 50,000 Korat Open after a 6-4, 6-1 win over Thai pair of Pongsatorr Benjamas and Prach Mahathavorn in the first round.
The top seeded pair will next take on the Indian pair of Ashutosh Singh and Purav Raja, who defeated French duo Mathieu Montcourt and Edouarc Roger-Vasselin 6-3, 6-3 in their opening round.
India's challenge in the singles event had ended with the first round defeats of Somdev Devvarman and Prakash Amritraj.
