Birmingham: Anil Kumble and Virat Kohli seemed to have put their alleged rift behind as the coach gave his skipper throw downs during the Indian cricket team's indoor net session here yesterday.
Reports of the Kumble-Kohli tussle have dominated headlines over the last few days. The Indian team were forced to practice indoors thanks to the inclement weather. Most of the batsmen were seen taking throw downs for a considerable period of time.

No Dada meeting
Meanwhile, it is learnt that former India captain Sourav Ganguly did not meet the players as was reported in some sections of the media. With four nets adjacent to each other, the focus of attention was on the first one where skipper Kohli was rigorously taking throw downs from Kumble. Initially, he was seen doing some conventional knocking, trying to get a feel of the ball. There seemed to be no cold war between the duo as it was not evident in their body language. Kumble spent a good 20 minutes before he went to the second net. Yuvraj Singh, who missed the two warm-up matches due to viral fever, was being given throw downs by batting coach Sanjay Bangar.
