Frank Lampard believes that Chelsea deserved to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp felt hard done by the controversial nature of the two goals scored by the opposition, which on another day could just as easily have been ruled out.

Blues' first goal, scored by Lampard saw goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes fumble the ball before recovering to claw it to safety. However, a referee's assistant deemed that the whole of the ball had crossed the line. "We deserved the win and have kept our title hopes alive," Lampard said, according to The Daily Mail. "I was due one of those (controversial goals) after not getting a big decision in the summer. It's unlucky on Spurs but you get what you deserve. We created enough to win the game."
