Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has confessed that it is highly unlikely for his club to win the Premier League title this season. The London based club is now eleven points behind league leaders Manchester United and Manchester City.
Villas-Boas believes it is going to be a daunting task for Chelsea to overcome this huge difference between them and the league leaders, The Sun reports. "There's no big drama in terms of how we look at things. But you have to be sufficiently real and with City and United continuing to get the points they are getting at the moment, it'll be difficult," he said. Chelsea drew their last game against Fulham 1-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Juan Mata put his side in front with the help of a Fernando Torres assist, but American international Clint Dempsey brought his side on level. Now Villas-Boas believes it's time when Chelsea should analyze its current situation.
"We have to focus on our position at the moment and make a real assessment. Maybe the Premier League is over for us at the moment. You have to be real. You cannot live under false expectations when the gap is this big," he said.
