Rahul Dravid is confident that today's Test will get underway as planned despite riots in the city here.

Dravid, who went out for dinner with friends on Monday, was asked to rush back to the hotel by the team management as riots worsened. "I'm aware that the football game (England vs Holland) at Wembley was cancelled, but cricket crowds are different. Unless something drastic occurs, this Test will go ahead," he told MiD DAY. "There's grass on the wicket, but it won't seam around as much as Nottingham. There is dryness beneath so the ball might turn later," he said of the playing surface.
