The Indian Premier League (IPL) snub will be etched in Sourav Ganguly's mind forever, reckoned Debu Mitra, who coached Ganguly in his formative years. Though Ganguly found no takers at the two-day IPL auction in Bangalore in January, Team Kochi later showed interest in the former India skipper. But his hopes were dashed when other franchises objected to the move during the Governing Council meeting last week.
"Sourav won't be able to get over the snub. It will always play on his mind," Mitra, coach of the Baroda Ranji team told MiD DAY yesterday.
