It is not often a superstar cricketer can get away with wearing a T-shirt that features a giant print of a topless lady drinking a long neck of beer.
But when your name is David Warner, you can wear whatever you want, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Warner flew from Melbourne to Canberra via Sydney to link with his Chairman's XI teammates for the start of today's three-dayer against India.
The 25-year-old arrived dressed in a colourful T-shirt made by Death By Zero, ripped jeans and thongs.
He was given a well-earned rest from the final net session but had a brief chat with coach Troy Cooley before he returned to the team hotel for a rest.
Warner was late last week contemplating sitting out the Chairman's XI game to help him completely overcome a niggling back injury that placed him in doubt for the Thunder's opener.
But the Chairman's XI skipper is determined to lead from the front against India and strike an early psychological blow against most of the players he will face on Boxing Day.
