Former South African fast bowler Allan Donald has emerged as the favourite to become Australia's next bowling coach.
Donald is currently New Zealand's bowling coach and had helped lift the Black Caps to the semi-finals of this year's World Cup.
Former Australian coach and NZ Cricket director John Buchanan said that New Zealand is "very keen" to retain the South African, but they could now be involved in a trans-Tasman tussle for his services.
"I guess from Allan's point of view it's a nice position to be in with at least a couple of international organizations chasing his services," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Buchanan, as saying.
