Former India batsman Rahul Dravid hopes Pakistan bowler Mohammad Amir returns to international cricket after completing his five-five-year ban for spot-fixing.

Amir was recently released from prison after completing one half of a six-month sentence "He's (Amir) a superb player and when he's served his ban, I'd hope he'd be able to come back," Dravid told BBC Sport.

"It's not easy to stay away from the game for so long, to not play it, and be able to come back," he added. Meanwhile, BCCI in a press release said yesterday that Dravid, who recently retired from international cricket, will be felicitated on March 27 in Mumbai.
