DURUELO Convent showed why they are the best team at the inter-school level. Yesterday, they bagged their third consecutive title in the girls' under-14 category defeating Loretto Convent 2-1 in the Nike MSSA inter-school hockey tournament at the St Stanislaus ground (Bandra).

Jemima Monteiro opened the account for Duruelo through a penalty corner and they doubled their lead through Sifa Shaikh. Anjali Tudu managed to pull one back for Loretto.

It was an all-Bosco final as Don Bosco 'A' (Matunga) battled it out with Don Bosco 'B' (Matunga) for the boy's under-12 title. Jess Kinny was the lone goalscorer of the match as he led the 'A' team to an eventful victory.

Skipper Kevin Barnes converted a penalty corner for St Stanislaus as they pipped local Bandra rivals St Andrew's, 1-0, for the boys' under-10 title.
