Australia cruised to a six-wicket win over New Zealand in the first Twenty20 international here yesterday.
Shaun Tait, Dirk Nannes and Mitchell Johnson combined well to bowl out New Zealand for 118 before the Australian batting guns fired away.
David Warner and Shane Watson blasted 28 from the first two overs. David Hussey and Michael Clarke put on 67 runs while Cameron White ended the contest with a four and a sizzling six off Martin Guptill.
