England and West Indies kick off the five-match one-day international series at Old Trafford here today.
It will be England's first ODI since their Champions Trophy semi-final defeat to eventual tournament winners Pakistan at Cardiff in June. That match saw Jonny Bairstow making 43. Bairstow will again open the innings for England with Alex Hales.
