Star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes AC Milan's experience in the champions league will help them beat newcomers Tottenham in tonight's clash at the San Siro AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is wary of tonight's Champions League opponents Tottenham Hotspur but says the Rossoneri's experience in the competition will prove to be a deciding factor.
"It's a massive advantage having people with experience, and here at Milan there are many players who have won the Champions League," said Ibrahimovic.
"I think Tottenham is a big team. They're developing and they're aiming for the three or four first positions in the Premier League.
"And now they're in the Champions League and we see the investments they are doing.
"It will not be an easy game. We have to be careful when taking any risks, as we don't want to concede," he added.
Spurs travel to the San Siro for the second time this season to take on the Rossoneri in the first knockout round of the competition, with the return leg at White Hart Lane on March 9.
They lost 4-3 to Inter Milan in the group stage but beat the Nerazzurri 3-1 at home.
u00a0Ibrahimovic went on to compare Tottenham with another North London team Arsenal.
He scored at the Emirates for Barcelona last season against Arsenal, and he believes Harry Redknapp's men will be of a similar level to the Gunners.
"Compared to Arsenal, I haven't played against Tottenham, but sure they are the same level as Arsenal."
Meanwhile, Welsh wing wonder Gareth Bale has been ruled out of the second round.
Memories of Bale in Milan are still vivid following his scorching hat-trick against Inter in the Champions League group stages in the very same stadium he will not be able to grace again due to a back injury.
