Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) secretary general Jorge Perez has spoken up for head coach Vicente del Bosque despite the team's early exit from the FIFA World Cup

Curitiba: Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) secretary general Jorge Perez has spoken up for head coach Vicente del Bosque despite the team's early exit from the FIFA World Cup.

Perez said that the RFEF wants del Bosque to "stay on and will offer him backing", reports EFE.

The 63-year-old coach is set to decide whether "he is staying until the European Championships in France or will leave." Spain suffered two consecutive losses to Netherlands 1-5 and Chile 0-2 in the World Cup that led to their
elimination.
Del Bosque guided Spain to World Cup glory in 2010 and helped it successfully defend its European title in 2012.
