On an even field
I don't believe that T20 is a batsman's game. A good bowler has equal opportunities to do well in all formats of the game. As a pacer, your job is to make the ball hit the right areas. And I don't believe in fretting over the fours and sixes. After all, a good shot is a good shot. That's the nature of the game. My main motto is that I should perform well for my team. I am not here to be the highest wicket-taker or have the best economy rate. Nor do I believe in contests like Steyn vs Lasith Malinga and so on.
Indian connect
Playing in India is a simply fabulous experience. You have 40,000 plus crowds at every match, and that gets your adrenaline pumping. It feels great to know that I have quite a few fans in India. Otherwise, the food, local culture and sheer passion for cricket makes touring in India an incredible experience.
Tattoo talk
My latest tattoo is of three Proteas. The Protea is the national flower of South Africa. I have three of them on my left arm, all in the colours of the national flag. The leaves are in black.u00a0
