Fernando Torres left out of Spain squad

Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque named a 21-man squad for the friendly against Uruguay on February 6, with Malaga's Isco and Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta included for the first time. However, striker Fernando Torres was left out (top).


Nacho Monreal was also called up a day after sealing a move from Malaga to Arsenal.

Apart from Torres, Valencia striker Roberto Soldado was also missing, while Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas is absent due to injury.
