The tournament will begin on January 24 and will feature 32 schools from the city. A total of 700 schools are participating from eight states.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for these kids as they will get to learn from people like Robin Singh, Shaun Pollock and Jonty Rhodes.u00a0 We will select five kids with good potential and train them.

With the IPL season about to begin, I am not sure how many days they will get to train, but we will try and squeeze in as many days as possible," said MI assistant coach Paras Mhambrey.

Former Test wicketkeeper Syed Saba Karim will play mentor. Karim said that the initiative has the full support of MI skipper Sachin Tendulkar.
