Footballer dies on field in Bangalore

A 34-year-old Bangalore footballer died on the field yesterday after suffering from a cardiac arrest, PTI reported. The deceased was identified as Venkatesh.

"Venkatesh who used to play for Bangalore Mars Club suffered a massive heart attack and died on the spot while playing a match against South Western Railways," police sources revealed.
