Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs could lose at least half his 34 million pound fortune if his wife Stacey demands a divorce from him.
He also faces the possibility of losing several lucrative sponsorship deals, the Daily Star reports.
For two decades, some of the world's biggest brands have battled to secure his endorsement as football's Mr. Clean family man.
But those companies will almost certainly consider pulling the plug following the latest revelations about his private life.
His 20-year deal with Reebok netted him an estimated 20 million pounds.
He also boasts other lucrative contracts with watch firms Sovil et Titus, Patek Philippe, Cyma, and Citizen; as well as Citroen cars, electronics giants Fuji and French fashion house Givenchy.
When Giggs signed a 200, 000 pound deal with CYMA watches in 2009 the company's general manager praised him.
He said he was a global role model for "loyalty, fair play and discipline, as well as excellent match play".
He was also picked to replace Will Carling, 45, as frontman for low-fat Quorn burgers in 1995.
His reputation was so impressive that in March Manchester Labour MP Tony Lloyd, 61, put down a motion in Parliament.
It congratulated him on his long career, commending him as a "role model to team-mates and young footballers everywhere".u00a0
