Harmanpreet called a 'rockstar', Kohli, Shastri, Sehwag lead in Twitter wishes

Indian cricket greats rejoiced as India stunned defending champions Australia to enter the ICC Women's World Cup finals. The wishes on Twitter just began to pour in for the women's team and for Harmanpreet Kaur

India's cricket captain Virat Kohli, Ravi Shastri and Virender Sehwag led the way to congratulate India's eves for their World Cup feat.

Virat Kohli, who is currently leading Team India for the upcoming tour to Sri Lanka took to micro-blogging website Twitter to salute the women's outfit.

He wrote: What an innings by @ImHarmanpreet and a brilliant effort by the bowlers also so far.. #INDvAUS @BCCIWomen #ICCWomensWorldCup2017.'

Taking to Twitter, former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar branded Harmandeep Kaur's batting carnage as incredible and hailed the brilliant finish by the women in blue.

Earlier Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Harmanpreet on her fabulous performance. He posted on Twitter: Incredible batting by @ImHarmanpreet! Come on India- Let's go out and win the second half of the game as well. #AUSvIND #WWC17 #WomenInBlue.'

India's new head coach Ravi Shastri, in his post, compared Harmanpreet Kaur to Kapil Dev for her fab innings.

Former batsman Virender Sehwag also congratulated the team, saying they have made the nation proud.
