Miami's Dwyane Wade continued his blistering scoring pace yesterday, pouring in 42 points as the Heat defeated Toronto 108-82 in a National Basketball Association contest.
The Heat notched back-to-back victories for the first time since January, and collected their first win on the road since February 12.
Michael Beasley added 12 points and three players chipped in 10 each for the Heat.
Wade, who entered the game leading the NBA in scoring with an average of 29.3 points per game, shot 17-of-23 in scoring more than 35 points for the fourth straight contest.
The Most Valuable Player candidate added eight assists and six rebounds and connected on three 3-pointers.
Toronto's Chris Bosh kept pace with Wade for a while, finishing with 34 points. But he couldn't prevent the Raptors losing their fourth straight game.
Jermaine O'Neal, who was traded from the Raptors to the Heat prior to the trade deadline last month, scored eight points, while Shawn Marion, who went from Miami to Toronto in the same deal, scored 10 points.
