I did not call Tevez an idiot: Teammate Kolarov

Manchester City's Aleksander Kolarov has rubbished reports that he branded teammate Carlos Tevez "an idiot" for allegedly refusing to come on during the side's 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich last week.

The suspended striker held talks with club officials on Monday and could learn of his fate in the next 48 hours, before returning to Argentina to serve his sanction following the episode.

"It is really not true that I said that word to him," Kolarov told Mondo. I don't want to comment any more about this because I'm afraid that I will get misunderstood again."
