The fiery pacer has made everyone sit up and take notice with 10 wickets in the five-match ODI series. He now has 21 wickets in just 10 ODIs. His skipper AB de Villiers touted him as the one "knocking on the door of greatness in future."

Rabada claimed four wickets in the final match on Sunday and with praise all around, it could have been easy for any 20-year-old to get carried away with so much success in such a short span of time.

'A long way to go'
However, Rabada seems to be handling instant fame well. "There is still a long way to go in my career. I am going to try and control the controllables.

"I am going to keep preparing well and make sure I do the right things so that I can get even better. I don't know what my limit is, so I am always pushing myself by asking questions as well," he said on what he has learnt during the India series.

Rabada posed serious problems to Indian batsmen with the ball rising quickly thanks to the sheer amount of pace he generated. In the decider, Rabada consistently hit the 150kmph mark on the Wankhede strip which offers relatively better bounce than other pitches in India.

Rabada took help of his senior bowlers to understand the conditions well. "I knew it was never going to be easy coming to play in the sub-continent. There is a great experience around, the guys play during the IPL so they have got an idea of what is going on.

"If you are going to sit there and not ask them many questions then you would be a bit naïve because these guys know a lot. It is great milking them and asking them questions because that is how you learn and you also learn through experience. Everything they have said has been absolutely nailed on the head in terms of what has been happening on the pitch," said Rabada.
