Indian cricket skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni Tuesday attributed his success in the hot-seat to quality players in the side who delivered when the team needed the most.
"It's the team that has made me a successful captain. Nothing would have been possible had not my teammates delivered when it mattered the most," Dhoni said on the sidelines of a promotional event.
"I have got some great players who back each other, help each other and that really helps the cause of the team," he said.
With his team on a song after defeating Australia in both Tests and One-day International series at home, Dhoni said he was now focusing on the upcoming home series against New Zealand and the subsequent away fixture opposite South Africa.
When asked about India's chances in the World Cup in the sub-continent early next year, he said: "Neither do I live in the past nor do I look too far ahead. As for the World Cup, it is still four months away. It's too early to think about it now.
However, he hoped to have all the top players in the pink of health before the Feb-March mega event.
"I only hope that the top players are all available for selection and there are no major injury worries," he added.
