Argentine striker Lionel Messi has said that his 'diminutive frame' had never been an issue when he started playing football.
"I wasn't teased as a child for my size. In fact I think I had more affection because I was small," The Sun quoted Messi, as saying.
As for other children who are smaller than their teammates, Messi said: "I would encourage them. Look at Barcelona and Spain. We have lots of smaller players."
He further said that he loves to follow English Premier League teams Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
