Dubai: The West Indies' cancellation of the India tour midway will come up for discussion at the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board meeting here Nov 9-10.
"ICC Board will gather at the headquarters here Nov 9-10 for thet round of meetings of the year. In the lead up to these meetings, various other committee meetings, including the ICC Chief Executives' Committee (CEC) meeting, will take place," ICC said in a statement Wednesday.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), whose team decided not to play the last two one-Day Internationals (ODIs) and the three-match Test series in India, to pay up for the losses incurred for the abandonment of the tour which has been estimated at $42 million.
The Indian cricket board earlier also wrote to the ICC to apprise it with the conduct of the WICB.
Among other issues to be discussed are playing conditions for the upcoming 2015 World Cup, suspected illegal bowling actions and a revised anti-corruption code.
India will be represented by ICC chairman N. Srinivasan in the Board meeting while BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel will be present at the CEC meet.
