As far as the head-to-head record goes between hosts Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), MI have the upper hand over the visiting team as KKR have beaten MI in their den only once (in 2012) in six outings at the Wankhede Stadium.

KKR have lost to Mumbai Indians 12 times overall - the most number of losses for KKR against any opponent in the IPL.

Defending champions MI have lost four out of seven games they have played so far and earned six points to be fifth on the points table. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah, who has supported fellow MI pacer Mitchell McClenaghan (11 wickets is seven games) well with eight wickets in seven matches this season, with an economy rate of 8.15, revealed the secret of mastering his yorkers.

"I used to play a lot of tennis-ball cricket where you bowl a lot of yorkers so maybe that could be a reason I bowl many yorkers. You cannot master anything, but I practice a lot," said the 22-year-old pacer.
