Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will once again lead the Mumbai Indians in the sixth season of Indian Premier League (IPL), according to media reports.
Tendulkar, who skippered the side since the IPL's inception in 2008 till 2010, had relinquished the post and handed over the responsibility to Harbhajan Singh in 2011.
The off-spinner, who subsequently led the Mumbai Indians to Champions League victory in the same year and also the next year, reportedly submitted his resignation as captain of the IPL franchise this week. There was speculation that Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma would take over in his place.u00a0
