Sachin Tendulkar scored 214, his sixth double-century, before the last five wickets fell for nine runs.

Tendulkar reached the milestone within half an hour of the commencement of play Wednesday morning.

This is Tendulkar's second double century against Australia.

Mitchell Johnson finished with 3-105, while Peter George and Nathan Hauritz claimed two wickets each.
