India's football craze thrills Didier Drogba

Didier Drogba, who recently played a pivotal role in Chelsea's Champions League triumph, which also proved to be his last outing for the Blues, said he watched the Indian national team in action a few months back


Drogba, who is attending the Pepsi T20 Football Grand Finale in Delhi's Thyagaraj Stadium, said: "I don't know much about Indian football and footballers. But I saw them play some months ago. I am thrilled to know that football has big fan following here."

Drogba praises MSD's leadership
The striker did however, follow the Indian Cricket team's World Cup campaign last year and felt that Mahendra Singh Dhoni (right) is a good leader. "I know your (cricket) captain though I cannot pronounce his name. I followed the last (cricket) World Cup. The Indian team were the world champions. I think he (Dhoni) is a very good leader," said the 34 year old.u00a0
