India vs England: Couple's marriage proposal at Lord's goes viral

A couple's day out to watch the second ODI between India and England at Lord's on Saturday turned out to be the most memorable day of their lives when the man chose the iconic venue to propose to his girlfriend. The sequence of events unfolded during the 24th over when England skipper Eoin Morgan and Joe Root were at the crease. The camera zoomed in on the duo, Charan Gill and Pavan Bains, and that's when Bains decided to go down on one knee and proposed to her with a ring.

The moment turned out to be so dramatic that even former English cricketer and commentator David Lloyd eagerly waited for Gill's response. Even the broadcaster joined the action when a message, 'Decision Pending', flashed on the TV screen. "She said Yes!" was immediately flashed after Gill said yes.

The crowd loved it and so did India's Yuzvendra Chahal, who applauded the moment. While marriages are made in heaven, this match was certainly made in Lord's!
