India vs Sri Lanka in 2017 - away (India won 3-0)

Shikhar Dhawan was the highest run scorer with 358 runs as well as player of the series. R Ashwin starred with 17 wickets to his name. India claimed their biggest Test win away in the first match where Dhawan scored 190. India also defeated Sri Lanka for the first time by an innings in their hometown during the second Test. Hardik Pandya joined the ranks to become the fifth Indian to score a maiden test ton.

This was a historic series as India played their 500th Test match in the process. Sachin Tendulkar top scored in this two match series with 403 runs. India won a test for the first time by 1 wicket during the first Test at Mohali. Sachin Tendulkar also scored a double century in the second Test and also crossed 14,000 Test runs.

Sachin Tendulkar scored 248' in the first Test making it his highest ever Test score. Irfan Pathan bagged 11 wickets in the first Test.
