Marriage seems to have brought its fair share of fortune for Punjab cricketer Mandeep Singh. The 25-year-old tied the knot with his girlfriend Jagdeep Jaiswal, a British national, on December 25 in a Gurudwara near his hometown of Phagwara in Jalandhar.
Less than two weeks later the Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman was included in the Indian side for three T20s against England. "My wife has been my lucky charm," Mandeep said.
And with a hectic schedule ahead, a honeymoon is certainly not on the cards. "I told her that we can do whatever we want till December 31. We will think about the honeymoon later, maybe after the Indian Premier League (IPL)," he added.
