More often than the skills of the Sri Lankan bowlers, it has been run-outs that have given the visitors some hope in the series. While Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were involved in a terrible mix-up in Kolkata, a similar incident took place between Kohli and Ambati Rayudu (59) yesterday. Rayudu's run-out derailed India's run chase to a certain extent. India surely needs to sort out their running between the wickets before they take on Australia.

Lankans Thrived On Virat's Gamble
Looking at a dry Ranchi wicket, Kohli decided to rest in-form Umesh Yadav and go into the game with three spinners. However, the gamble failed to pay off. The last five overs bowled by Axar Patel, Karn Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni and R Ashwin bled 73 runs resulting in the Lankans posting a competitive score on the board. Among the three spinners, only Patel went for less than five runs per over.
