Shane Warne renews his rivalry with India's master batsman Sachin Tendulkar at the Brabourne Stadium today.

The Rajasthan Royals coach and captain may have had the last laugh when they beat Mumbai Indians in the last edition of the Indian Premier League in South Africa, but the chants of Sachin, Sachin which will be heard at the Brabourne today willu00a0 not be inspiring to the great Australian.

Warne said on Twitter: "Question to cricket followers.. Do you think Sachin will open and face Tait (paceman Shaun).. Or drop himself down order and let others take on Tait???" The Victorian's 'sledging' did not go down well with some Sachin fans and he had some explaining to do.

Earlier in the day and on a more serious note, Warne saidu00a0 "Good players no matter what the situation is, they adapt. He has been the greatest batsman in my 20 years of playing international cricket. He has been the greatest challenge to bowl to and I am hoping to resume that.

"He went through a patch when his form was not good for a few years, but if you look at his form now, he is the first man to get a double hundred in ODI's."

Talking of a double hundred, when the two clashed in the Mumbai vs Australia game at CCI in 1998, Tendulkar scored a double hundred. He followed that brilliant effort with a 155 in the Chennai Test.
