West Indies officials may be forced to relocate the final One-day International and the first Test against South Africa due to violence in the Jamaica capital of Kinsgton.
The Jamaican Government declared a state of emergency on Sunday, after violence erupted in the volatile West Kingston constituency, with angry mobs setting fire to a police station and fire-bombing another.
This stems from the government agreeing to to sign an extradition order for Christopher 'Dudus' Coke, the 41-year-old reputed leader of the infamous Shower Posse gang, one of the most notorious criminal organizations in the Western Hemisphere.
"The West Indies Cricket Board is closely monitoring the situation on the ground," read a statement from the regional governing body.

"The WICB has been in contact with all the major stakeholders and will issue a formal update in the coming days."
The ODI is scheduled for June 3 at Sabina Park, where the Test will be staged from June 10 to 14.
The WICB had to relocate the two Twenty20 Internationals and the first two ODIs between the two sides to Antigua, following the announcement of a snap general election taking place in Trinidad & Tobago on Monday.
