Park scored a winner in the 77th minute as United beat Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford on Tuesday night to complete a 3-1 victory on aggregate in the quarter-final tie.
"Ji is unbelievable," said United goalkeeper Van der Sar. "He was amazing. He was everywhere ufffd tackling at the front and the back and giving excellent passes.
"We really missed him when he was out during the Asia Cup earlier in the year and then he got an injury. It's great to have him back."
Park, 30, scored the decisive goal of the night within a minute of Didier Drogba's strike which equalised the score on the night and gave Chelsea hope of turning the tie around. Javier Hernandez had put United into a 2-0 lead in the tie with a close-range effort two minutes before the break.
Super GiggsFerguson paid tribute to Ryan Giggs, 37, who became United's oldest European outfield player over the course of the two legs against Chelsea, eclipsing the record previously held by Laurent Blanc.
"Well we've said it so many times about the man," Ferguson said of Giggs. "He's just incredible, a unique person and player," he said.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side will now face either Schalke or Inter in the last four, with the German giants holding a 5-2 advantage following the first leg in Milan.
