The grade 3, A C Ardeshir Trophy is slated as the feature event of Sunday's bumper ten-race card. Although a small field will go to the starting gates, the race will be fiercely contested with Juventus, Mr Greedy and Rhapsidion Snow, all capable of emerging victorious on their day. Juventus is in great heart, and therefore, gets my vote.
In another important race, the Tote On The Turf Sprint Million, Nefyn, an impressive winner on debut in Pune, is poised for a victory. The race for three-year-olds is over six furlongs' trip, and two of the horses Nefyn toyed with during his last victory, have come out and won their next races, thereby making Nefyn's credentials to land the spoils in this race more credible.
The La Ditta Japan Crystal Trophy, another sponsored event, may also see an exciting finish with fourteen runners facing the starter. Two of them--Estevez and Hereafter--are expected to be among those who are likely to dominate the finish. The latter has a slender edge.
