A win for the hosts will act as soothing balm for the defeat to Kochi Tuskers Kerala in their last game. Before that match, Kolkata had won three games in a row. Chennai will be on a high after their win over Shane Warne's Rajasthan Royals.

With just four more matches left in round robin stage, KKR will have to play to potential through their stars like Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan and Brett Lee. It will be an uphill task to conquer Chennai Super Kings as they have lived up to their defending champions tag.

Kolkata will look to Englishmen Eoin Morgan who scored 66 off 51 balls against Kochi. Jacques Kallis is another one who will need to score big today. Gambhir was not worried about the defeat to Kochi. "Winning and losing are part and parcel of the game. Our boys played well and with little more luck, we could have also won the match against Kochi," he said.u00a0
