Pakistani cricketers Kamran Akmal and Rana Naved have denied links with bookmakers after they were acused of being involved in match-fixing"I will be consulting the Board and my lawyer to decide what action to take against the Voice of America for making these false allegations," Akmal was quoted as saying in PTI. PCB chief Ejaz Butt first said that two Pakistani players were under investigation for match fixing. He later did a u-turn by saying he was talking about an old case.
