New Zealand beat the West Indies in a rain-disrupted fifth and final one-day cricket international by nine runs under the Duckworth-Lewis system here Tuesday to claim the series 2-1.
Set a target of 294, New Zealand were 211 for five after 35 overs when rain forced the players from the field.
Under the Duckworth-Lewis adjustment the par score was 202.
Scores: West Indies 293; Chris Gayle 135, Shivnarine Chanderpaul 94.
