It seems that Carlos Tevez had a really bad Tuesday. The Argentina star tried to avoid the storm surrounding his Manchester City sub snub by spending some peaceful time at the golf club. But Tevez and his wife Vanesa in Cheshire were turned away from the Tytherington club because they forgot to book a tee time, The Sun reported.
Man City manager Roberto Mancini blasted Tevez for refusing to come off the bench against Bayern Munich in the Champions League match. "He refused to come on the pitch. He refused to warm up and again refused to go on the pitch," Mancini said.
Tevez later issued a statement rubbishing the claims. "I had warmed up and was ready to play. This is not the right time to get into specific details as to why this did not happen. But I wish to state that I never refused to play," Tevez said.
