For the first time in the history of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), the Annual General Meeting will not be held after the biennial elections today

For the first time in the history of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), the Annual General Meeting will not be held after the biennial elections today.

Holding an AGM after the elections has been the practice for decades, but the ruling Bal Mahaddalkar has decided to not hold the annual fixture this time.

Ravi Savant, the incumbent vice-president of the MCA, said: "Since the last AGM was delayed and was finally held in February, we have decided to not hold the AGM this time. This is only an arrangement done for this year. We will hold it after the elections."

AGM was the only platform where members and voters met to put their grievances or suggestions against the MCA.
