Virender Sehwag, who missed the ongoing tour of the West Indies, is impressed by one of the men who replaced him in the squad ufffd Abhinav Mukund.
"I am big fan of Mukund. I'm very impressed by his batting. He has scored more centuries than half centuries in first-class cricket. I think he should make the most of his opportunity in the last Test (at Dominica)," said Sehwag at a promotional event yesterday.
"I think this (West Indies) tour was good opportunity for juniors in the absence of seniors," he added.
Sehwag's shoulder injury will prevent him from taking the field for the opening India vs England Test at Lord's on July 21, but he will be one of India's key men from the second Test in Trent Bridge (July 29-Aug 2).
"I am still not close to peak fitness and I am training at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. I will spend one more week there and I am looking forward to the England tour," he said.
