PANTALOONS Retail were crowned champions of the MiD DAY Corporate Cricket League yesterday after beating TCS in the final at the Central Railway's Ground in Parel.
Put in to bat first, Pantaloons notched up 121 for three in their ten overs. TCS never looked in reckoning and only managed 76, giving Pantaloons a 45-run win.
Nitin Palande led the way and took Pantaloons Retail to their massive total.
Palande's 84 not out came off 34 balls and included three 4's and six 6's. Ajay Kadam provided stability at the other end with 22 runs.

TCS disappointed in the chase as they fell well short. Preetam topscored with 22 runs while Prasad scored 18.
Palande's day was complete as he picked up two wickets. The all-round feat earned him the Man of the Match award.
