AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri said his team cannot afford to keep making mistakes if they want to land a first Serie A title since 2004.
Milan lead Serie A by three points from Napoli but reigning champions Inter Milan are five points back with a game in hand.
Inter, who are widely considered to be Milan's greatest threat, have slowly chipped away at their bitter neighbours' lead since mid-December when they trailed by 13 points.
And having drawn their last two league games and four of their last six, Allegri says Milan must stop the errors.
"Thankfully a long week has come to an end during which many things were said and written which suggested that we were third or fourth and someone else was top," he said ahead of Saturday's clash with Parma at the San Siro.
"The scudetto will start to be decided from tomorrow onwards and so we can't afford to slip up any more but rather than make us nervous that should remind us that our destiny is in our own hands."
Allegri also warned his side not to take Parma lightly.
"With Amauri and (Hernan) Crespo they're a technical side with speed and many goals in the team, also with players like (Sebastian) Giovinco, (Antonio) Candreva, (Francesco) Valiani and (Blerim) Dzemaili.
"It might not be a key match for us but it will be decisive in the title race."
